Located in the bustling seaside town of Scarborough, Serene House is a three bedroom holiday home with plenty of character. Sleeping up to 5 guests this stylish space is perfect for family staycations and getaways with friends, providing everything you need for a relaxing staycation by the sea. Just a short walk from North Bay and Peasholm Park the property is ideally situated for those looking to explore Scarborough.
The Space
Serene House is a cosy property with simple yet stylish interiors. The large living area is a bright space perfect for relaxing and socialising. The large window looks out onto the property’s lush front garden and quiet residential street.
The modern open-plan kitchen/diner features a long breakfast bar, as well as an electric oven and hobs, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. With the added luxury of a washing machine, you can pack lightly when visiting Serene House.
The three bedrooms are located on the first floor and each decorated with a neutral colour palette.
The master bedroom features a large four poster king bed and large dressing table desk. The second bedroom features a double bed and fitted wardrobes. Each of these rooms have the added luxury of a flat screen TV.
The third and final bedroom is a single room. All bedrooms feature crisp white bed linens and freshly plumped pillows so a restful nights' sleep is guaranteed.
The bathroom features a full suite with a large bath and shower overhead, a basin and WC.
Head outside and you'll find a good sized back garden. Featuring both decking and grassed areas, you can make use of the outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Neighborhood
Located in the seaside town of Scarborough, Serene House is a short walk to all of the attractions. Packed with seaside charm, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover as well as arcades and ice cream parlours.
There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Cayton Bay is the quietest of the three and boasts a sweeping bay with a rural feel. Lastly Cornelian Bay is the remotest and hardest to get to but it’s a hidden gem and often empty.
Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a short 20 minute walk from the house where you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. There is also the Sky Trail Adventure and Peasholm Park nearby.
Getting Around
Serene House is within walking distance of Scarborough town centre and within 1 hours’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey.
Scarborough Train Station is a 30 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free on-street parking near Serene House.

this is beautiful house in a fantastic location.easy access to local amenities and having a safe garden for my dog and parking.Ideal for parking the car up and walking to local beach and massive park close by.You have everything you need supplied in the house the owners have thought of everything

The place was very clean and check in goes smoothly. The house is equipped with everything you need. Good bed and nice bathroom. We had great stay and we hope back in the next year
