Great place and a wonderful location to stay in the Yorkshire Dales.
Great property with good configuration but a couple of points to note. Rather mean on toilet paper one roll per bathroom for a stay fo 10-12 over 4 days. Previous comments had been made but no notice taken.
Kitchen whilst adequately geared up we had expected full sets of kitchen equipment of the same type rather than a hoch poch of different stuff.
No logs for fire and told logs only supplied over winter but hey this is the UK and it’s nice to have at other times of the year.
Overal very happy
This is a lovely, comfortable house in an outstandingly beautiful location. We had a wonderful extended family gathering here and it was ideal, beds were also very comfy. Main niggle was parking, essentially there is one small spot in front of the garage at the property otherwise you need to pay to park in a pay and display across the road. Not hugely expensive (£4.50 per day when we were there ) but annoying you don’t know this until you get there! Car park also fills up as area is v popular with walkers.
Check in was easy , found the key and Everything as per the email. The heating was timed to come on am and pm but it could be booster when needed during the day. The bed rooms ar very good sizes, but we’re very cold , close the curtains early evening so help keep in the warmth. There is a log burner in the lounge which was very welcoming.
Small criticism was no dish washer tablets , the local shop sell a small bag for £2.99 but pack some for ease. One bath room had not been cleaned (tilet not flushed) so concluded the rest of the room not cleaned.
The beds all very comfortable and the duvets very snuggly.
The pub is only a very short walk and the food is great. Book your table they get very busy.
I would definitely book again.
Lovely clean house in a beautiful location. Couldn't ask for more!
Stunning property, which was amazing for bringing friends together. A handsome kitchen we could all cook in, a great living room to relax in, brilliant bedrooms, and all with the Dales ready for walking right on the doorstep
A luxurious and very comfortable house with a well equipped (Website hidden by Airbnb) is advisable to check with the management company that heating settings will meet your needs as they cannot be changed manually.
This is a fantastic house for large groups with very spacious rooms, and well presented. The beds were extremely comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. We stayed to celebrate a family birthday and cooked in the house after a great walk circular walk to Keld which you can pick up easily behind the house.
The pub (Farmers Arms) was closed at the time of our stay for renovations, not sure how long for but worth a check if you are planning on a pint after your day enjoying the area. The pub at Keld was also closed out of season (our planned midway point on our walk), so again best to check.
Beautiful area and a fantastic property which we would recommend.
Thank you for an amazing weekend in Muker. The house was beautiful and perfect for our group of friends, kids and dog interested in walking and eating :-)
The house had everything we needed and we had a great time. Parking was fine for our 3 cars and the kitchen was especially well stocked and modern. Sofas in the living room were also really comfy for a cosy night in after a long walk.
Lovely nice spacious house to stay in. The children loved the great open staircase and all the nooks to explore.
Location is wonderful and the parking was not an issue.
Bridge House is a great place for large family gatherings. There was plenty of room to spread out and relax, and it felt warm and cosy even on the colder days. Located in the very picturesque village of Muker.
Lovely house in a perfect location in the most beautiful part of Yorkshire Dales. It has amazing walks right in the doorstep.
The house itself is spacious and perfect for up to 12 guests. General cleanliness was ok but the kitchen would do with a regular walk. Some of the duvet covers had stains. A basket of wood, mentioned in the booklet, was not provided so we could not make fire the first evening. Despite the tiny issues, we would go back there again.
Bridge House was perfect from start to finish. Immaculately clean and well presented - exactly as the pictures show!
Bedrooms were all very big and beds super comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped and cosy and both the dining area and sitting areas perfect for large gatherings like ours.
The house is at the heart of Muker which is a beautiful little village with lots of local walks around for all levels of hikers.
We couldn’t fault Bridge House at all and all 9 of us would return again. Thank you for the loveliest stay!
Such a great, spacious place for a large group of friends. Modern kitchen, massive dinning area, with lots of space. Great location with a stunning view of the rolling hills. Highly recommended. It was a pleasure to stay here for the weekend. Very fast community - much appreciated. Overall - highly recommend!
