Lovely place. Nice and cosy, everything you would need.
Positioned on a main road and being a light sleeper, the traffic noise was a bit too much for me.

Modern clean facilities. Well equipped and comfortable.
Worst thing which spoilt our stay was extreme traffic noise in the front bedroom. Road only 1m from the kerb and low level so articulated lorry cabs were level with the window.
We could not stay another sleepless night so cut short our stay.
Other bedroom not so noisy but had to keep window shut.

Lovely cottage ideally situated between Scarborough and flamingo land so was perfect for our family weekend away

Cottage was central, lovely neighbours happy to help
Lovely cottage, but couldn’t use the front bedroom due to heavy road noise, they have upgraded the cottage to a nice standard but could do with upgrading windows to reduce the noise levels to make it a more comfortable stay,

Clean and all facilities available lots of kitchen items for cooking. Beautifully presented cottage
Steep stairs

Lovely clean modern cottage
Street noise from front bedroom

This is tastefully designed, cosy, modern interior with every convenience. It had everything that we needed and was an ideal location situated as it is, between the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors. Also within easy reach of the coast. However, light sleepers using the twin room should be advised that the less than smooth A170 is less than 2 metres away.

Great space ideally located for Scarborough and other North Yorkshire villages and attractions. Very nicely decorated throughout

Nice property with all you need, a bit noisy next to the main road

We had a really lovely stay in Snainton myself, husband and 7 year old. The location was perfect and was only 15 minutes away from the seaside (which we visited on the Saturday). The cottage is equipped with everything you need and is decorated through to a high standard. My only problem was I found the bedroom to be too light and the traffic could be noisy at times but I am a light sleeper! My husband and son slept perfectly well though! Apart from that, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!

lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean, nice little village.

Lovely decor and good to have a nespresso.
Background traffic noise although perhaps it was particularly bad that weekend as the road was being used as an official diversion due to roadworks on the A64 trunk road.

modern clean and thought of everything

Conveniently located near the golf club our son was playing, everything looks brand new, immaculately clean.
Only negative was road noise, but only due to the A64 being closed the weekend we were there and this was the diversion, but this was an exception and wouldn’t prevent us from booking again.

Easy to find. Nice double bed. Lovely kitchen and sitting room. Very well equipped. Huge bathroom. Easy to get in and easy parking for one car in the courtyard, and others on the road outside just opposite. Very cosy for family of 4. Two large and comfy sofas and a generous and solid table in the kitchen. All freshly painted and very nicely laid out. The main bedroom is spacious and comfortable. Key box is easy and secure. A very nice house indeed.
The heating was set rather high and the house was extremely warm. You can easily adjust it but of course it took hours to cool down and the setting bounced back to the saved one the next morning starting after we left. We returned to a hot house again! This could easily be remedied by setting the thermostat to leave the house a little cooler and let clients turn it up a bit if they need to. There is a stove as well for cooler days.
The stable door for the kitchen is a nice idea, so you can keep small children in off the road, but the bottom half has to be opened separately and is a rather awkward design. Arriving in the dark it took a bit of working out.. the latch for the bottom door is not obvious.
The twin room is quite small with small singles and is very noisy if you have to have the windows open. It is next to the main road. If the house was less hot then it would have been nice to keep the windows closed. The beds in here were a bit small for adults.

The cottage was in a little village just near Scarborough. Good location to explore Dalby Forest, Scarborough and other neighbouring villages. The cottage itself was tastefully decorated very modern and well kitted out with all amenities needed for a break away. A lot of thought must have been put into the cottage to ensure a comfortable and pleasurable stay.

Lovely cottage, great location between Scarborough, York and Whitby.

Great place to use as a base for exploring the area. A modern, comfortable and clean cottage.

We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 5 and 10 and loved our stay at Beam End cottage.
We found it to be spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need.
Really comfortable beds and the shower was amazing. The kitchen has everything you need and more.
It’s ideally located for the north York moors, various coastal spots and lots of other activities.
There’s a Spar not far away but no big supermarkets close by so it’s a good idea to bring supplies. Milk was in the fridge upon arrival and you can buy fresh eggs, veg etc locally.
The road that the cottage is on is quite busy so road noise can be heard, especially at night. It never kept our children awake though and their bedroom was on the front.
We would definitely recommend the cottage and would love to stay again.
