Amber Shores

This flat is very convenient both in its access to Saltburn and shops etc and the sea front and beach. It is very clean and well equipped and parking is very easy.

Perfect location, perfect little apartment for me and my daughter. Very clean and tidy. Made our trip absolutely perfect.

The location was close to all the amenities.

Really nice place. Great location for the beach and the town centre. They have everything you need in the kitchen. Great
communication. We loved it and would go back.
Only thing didn’t like was asking you to give ID after booking. I queried it and you don’t need to do it. It is a Host and Stay thing rather than the property itself but I queried it and you don’t have to give ID.

lovely stay. Right next to the beach front and close to everything in town. We got a really nice takeaway from the Indian restaurant on the corner of the street. Got lucky with the timing of our stay as dogs were only allowed on a small section of the beach after May 1st till September. We had a good sleep but there was a pub round the back that was kind of loud but it didn't disrupt our sleep and we were visiting on a bank holiday weekend so it probably isn't that loud normally. Overall a really nice stay

A wonderful place. Just stones throw away from the beautiful beach. Lovely and cozy place. Would definitely comeback to the property in future.

We thought location was ok. Easy to get to park,promanade and shops although the funicular was not in operation.
The bathroom spoilt the apartment eg .. toilet seat was very loose,the shower unit looked poor condition with one of the door off it's runners(which I put back on) and the basin tap was loose but we managed.I would give 10/10 for the other 3 rooms but only 3/10 for bathroom.

The appartment is nice and clean . Everything you need for a great stay well furnished and in a great location for the beach and lots of nice shops ,bars and restaurants very close by .

we sadly had no washing up liquid provided and the hot water was a hit and miss situation. more so In the kitchen. but overall a very lovely stay.

The flat was lovely clean and modern. It is in a fab location with a row of shops and bars just a stones throw away in one direction and the beach in the other.
We had all we needed for the weekend, we will definitely be recommending it to others and returning ourselves.

Great location between the town and seafront. Private parking is a bonus during busy periods. Flat was well equipped and a decent size for two people.

Very modern and bright. Was only yards away from the front and prom.easy to visit other places.

The taps were hard to control at first. The people who lived upstairs were very noisy on our first night there until after 2 in the morning

Cracking location, good communication, easy check in and clean. Would I stay here again, its a most defiantly a yes.

As above, the apartment was perfect as was the location and to be able to park off road safely outside the apartment was a bonus.The only negative was the cleanliness and fitting of the shower, its not the first time we have stayed some where and had the same problem, the shower was not fitted correctly and did nit seem to fit the base ? the cleanliness was also an issue as it had black mould around the bas and walls, the sealant around the base of the shower had certainly not been done by a plumber and needs attention { very thick and uneven} we did contact the agent and came to an arrangement who offered to send cleaners out, but who wants that when on holiday, we brought some bleach and mould spray and cleaned it ourselves. Other than that the apartment is great and if shower screen was refitted and cleaned correctly we would certainly book again.

After 16 months of me and my wife not being able to get away for a weekend we booked Amber Shores for 2 nights.
We wanted quiet, but lovely walks but this place really is a true gem.
We are from Doncaster and a month ago after spending 1 day in Sandsend we drove up to have a sneaky look and must admit was disappointed.
We couldn’t have been anymore mistaken.
The flat is very well catered for, modern and very very clean.
To be honest for 2 people it’s huge, and the living room has a massive sofa with a big tv.
Turn right It’s 100 yards to the sea front which boasts on of the longest beeches I have seen and a beautiful walk.
Turn left and 100 yards there are a row of wine bars and restaurants..
Perfect ?
We 100% will book it again but one bit of advice is book Seaviews restaurant early it’s book well up.

Sadly there were no views or sitting outside space.

Amber Shores is in a great location; seconds away from the beach, a Sainsbury’s within a few minutes walk and easy to join the Cleveland Way and other walks.
There are lots of bars and cafes nearby if you want to go out, but the apartment is comfortable to just hang out.
The apartment is well equipped with quality items.
I’d recommend staying here.

Shower could do with basket for gels etc. Kitchen sink could do with bowl so as to use less water.

Excellent location to enjoy the seafront and also the towns restaurants and bars. But quiet, as far enough away from people noise! Even with the pub just around the back. Perfect for what we wanted.

Lovely flat a stone's throw from the seafront. Well decorated with everything you need and sparkling clean too! We really appreciated the free tea/coffee and pint of milk provided on arrival :)

Clean and very comfortable bed and sofa! Well equipped kitchen. Minutes from the beach and great walks. Good communication, we had a small issue but it was resolved to our satisfaction. Would definitely return here

Great place. Smooth simple check in to a perfectly located apartment. Exactly what we wanted. Small shower issue on second day - resolved swiftly by the owners, couldn't fault them. A cozy bolt hole that we will use again.

We only stayed for 2 nights, but were impressed with the apartment. It was clean, modern and had everything we wanted. On the ground floor and with private off-road parking it was ideal. It was close to a supermarket so that we could get supplies and cafes and restaurants were also within easy walking distance, although with the present situation, it was all al fresco! Good job the weather was wonderful!
There were some wonderful walks along the coastal path and the beach was beautiful, even if the water was cold!! Unfortunately, the funicular down to the beach was closed as were many of the shops and restaurants on the pier (Covid related of course) but I am sure later in the year, this will make beach access much easier. It's a steep walk or lots of steps at the moment!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment without hesitation!
