Clean, comfortable place, close to the beach and to the local shops.

We had a lovely 4 day break. Perfect location and quirky accomodation for 2 and a dog. Loved the enclosed garden. Bed comfy.
The sofa has seen better days and parking confusing - we always ensure there is free parking which this said but we only managed to get parked the first day then all spaces used - free parking on street but due to sunny busy saturday had to drive round for ages to find a place to park quite a way from the property - needs to be made clear where each property park.

clean , well presented, perhaps mention in your instructions that you need to open the blue courtyard door to find the front door/ keypad. lovely gesture of tea, coffee and milk ready on arrival . thank you
all good thanks

Good location. other areas of interest easily accessible by bus or train. No need to take the car. Lots of eateries and a few pubs. Great long walks to burn the calories.
You have to love dogs as it is very doggy friendly.

Perfect little cottage , great location,
Well equipped, clean , very comfortable bed , great little enclosed area to sit and have breakfast in the sunshine.

the cottage included everything needed and more
one yard gate didn’t lock

It was just the ticket, lovely break ,everything we wanted .lovely comfortable bed ,all the things you want to hand .
The only problem was the TV's ,when it rained you lost the signal ,and if the wife went to bed first and she put the tv on down stairs you lost the signal upstairs.

Location across the road from the Beach :D excellent.
Heating warmed up the Cottage very quickly :D
Bed was very comfortable :D
Patio/ Garden Area brilliant for our Doggy to just lay in and have fresh air :D
Lot's of Tea, Coffee, Sugar and washing and cleaning up stuff already for you to use :D
Upside down Cottage was homey and our Doggy loved it to :D
Great having 2 bathrooms!
Wooden floors Brilliant just what i was looking for with taking our doggy :D
Keys in Lock Box on arrival :D
Lots of communication with Owners Very Good if you have any issues :D
Details for the TV and Amazon Firestick need updating in the Guide Book in the property.
Would of felt better if there was a bolt lock on the Patio gate to make sure Doggy was safe in the garden area.

We liked that the appartment was quite well equipped with some of the more common day to day
items you will need to eat with and keep the place clean.
Apologies to the owners for my not putting out the rubbish bin as requested, this was an honest mistake
on my part as it was our first time using a Host & Stay property and I only found out this requirement
when we had left the property, hope it wasn't too much of a problem as the large kitchen bin was only
a quarter full after our stay.
Otherwise we thought the appartment was an excellent place to stay.
The "open" stand on the floor showers rather than the traditional cubicle type were not to our liking but the excellent bath made up for this so not really a problem.

The cottage was very well equipped and we certainly had everything we needed. I liked that we had 2 bathrooms.
I was not too impressed with the level of cleanliness. The floors were dusty on the ground floor especially underneath the bed. Upstairs the sink and the basin had greasy residue and inside the fridge could have been cleaner.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. The beach, shops and places to eat, all in walking distance. Good communication before arrival with details on how to find the property and the key code. Liked having his and hers bathrooms !!
Was very disappointed to find on arrival that the log burner had been taken out and replaced with an electric fire and we were not informed. We were really looking forward to chilling with a glass of wine in front of the fire, it was the main reason for booking the cottage !!

Very close to the beach, all the necessities we needed were close by.
Was abit confusing with never been before as to which the entrance of the cottage was.

Had everything we wanted and needed and felt very comfortable and great location and facilities.

Nice apartment, lovely bathrooms and great location
Mattress wasn't as good as the one we have at home but that's all!
Some confusion as to which door as there was another one also with keybox.

The house was clean and a good location
No mattress topper and there was a smell coming from the bathroom with the bath,

another armchair/sofa and chairs wrong height for table-but this did not spoil our stay

The location is perfect - this is a self contained property and so close to the sea, the beach, the town. All very accessable, relaxing - no need to get the car out again.

I cant think of anything!
OH I did have trouble finding the property as it is at the back of a larger building and the grid reference (google map) said it was at the house nextdoor!

Really enjoyable

Lovely little place - very close to the beach, has everything you need and very clean

The property itself was in a very nice location, set back just off of the main road and bang opposite the sea front. The property was nicely furnished and felt very cosy. If we hadn’t had the issue below it would have been the perfect get away.
Upon arrival the ‘cleaner’ was leaving and as we entered the property the place looked and felt as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Me and my partner spent over two hours cleaning before even thinking about heading out to enjoy our stay. The upstairs was horrendous, we had to sweep, hoover and mop (thankfully the cupboards were stocked with cleaning products. Maybe the cleaner couldn’t find them). All of the kitchen sides needed wiping along with the dining table, chairs and the bannister. After wiping everywhere down the wipes were black and covered with dust and dirt. We then had to again hoover and mop the downstairs bedroom and wipe everywhere down. In the bathroom the toilet was leaking.

Everything was new well pleasec

toilet leaked

No coffee machine

Such a lovely place to stay, loved the quirky lay out. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed and more, spotlessly clean and in a great location - the beach is literally on the doorstep. The sofa and bed were especially comfortable and the bath is just lush! Would heartily recommend staying here, really made our holiday that much more special. The cottage being dog friendly was just the icing on the cake. It was our first holiday with our rescue dog and she absolutely loved it too. Couldn't fault anything, thanks for a great few days! ?
Nothing, it was all lovely ?

Lovely cottage in a good location.
Very comfortable and everything needed.
the TV in the bedroom didn’t work (image pixelated) and there was some water seeping out from under the toilet in the bathroom. Lots of cobwebs and tv remote was dirty

Great place in a perfect location in Saltburn. Clean, tidy and well equipped. The private yard was lovely in the sunshine.
Super comfy bed in a quiet area, and only a few steps away from a sea view. We’d love to stay there again

Great spot . I loved my early morning walks to the Pier.
Our 3 night stay was great
clean place felt so relaxing

The cottage is in a quiet location, it was very comfortable and clean, well equipped with everything you could need to make a meal.
The bed was super comfortable.
Not the easiest place to find.

Location was useful and scenic, at the front of the property.
The cottage was spotless, very well fitted out, and very comfortable.
The two televisions did not work well (lounge and bedroom). The instructions for tuning in did not seem to match the remote controls and the picture/sound kept 'breaking apart' - presumably through signal failure. This was very disappointing. A call was made to the agency to get help and a call-back from the owner was promised - but did not come through.
The solid floor in the lounge could benefit from a rug in front of the settee.

The cottage was in a good location near the beach and the sea. It was well designed and had everything we needed for the 3 night stay including a good private outdoor space. We received excellent instructions from our host so we could enjoy our stay. We would stay there again.

Didn’t find any problems with anything, it was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for our stay

Lovely property, booking photos don’t really do it justice. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely short break for 2 adults and our dog.
Easy to book, great communication from the hosts, easy instructions and great amenities.

Great that the yard has been converted into a lovely suntrap.

We have just had the bank holiday weekend at this place for the cost we paid for 3nights at approx £150 per night I would say this apartment in a 3 star and no more look good on the photos but all the furniture is no more than your average furniture fridge freezer was smaller than the cupboard it was placed in cheap rubbish bin miss match crockery one bathroom with shower toilet electric shower not very powerful the other with a bath as you entered the cottage it smells damp. The upstairs furniture was a old very sunken setee with 4 leather looking chairs and and old large table trying to make the apartment look old world but does not fit the look very expensive for what get no veiw stayed in better in Saltburn for a lot less.

Not much very poor not value for the money
Value for money was poor was not to the standard for the price we paid

Location and overall facilities were good.
Felt cold downstairs, bath water did not get hot enough, toilet was leaking , odd crockery .Glass alcony gap dangerous for small dog .

Very good

Lovely little cottage which for two people, is very spacious. All amenities you need and little things like a king size bed with a really good mattress, good quality bedding and large towels made it extra nice. The furniture was comfortable and your could relax, cook and eat with ease. The directions to the property itself are a little difficult to find but I would happily book this again.

A delightful property! Felt luxuriously spacious for two. Appreciated the cosy woodburner in the April evenings. We'll be back!

Very nice cottage with a log burner, got firesticks for both Tv’s,everything you need for cooking & all cleaning products & toiletries provided

Lovely little place, a little tricky to find behind a 'secret door'. The view at the end of the road helps clear the mind.
Very comfortable stay, the fire was lovely
