Property Details

The Space
Enter the property to discover a quirky and cosy living/dining room, with hard wood floors, fabric sofas, a stone hearth feature fireplace and a selection of contemporary and carefully chosen vintage pieces.

The dining area seats 6 people and features a mis-matched dining table, bench and chairs. Facing the large bay window this space is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning light.

The soft furnishings and plush, textured rugs add colour to this large welcoming space. After a day exploring you can relax in front of the flat screen television, enjoy your favourite book in the window seat or enjoy a family meal around the dining table.

The separate u-shaped kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, gas stove top, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer-dryer and ample storage. With plenty of worktop space you’ll have everything you need to prepare fresh ingredients for a delicious home-cooked meal.

On the ground floor you will find the first of the three bedrooms. This is a large twin room with two single beds, a vintage chest of drawers and wooden clothes rail with shoe shelf. This bright space features a soft natural palette with seashell themed artwork and green toned soft furnishings.

The relaxing garden room with desk opens out with French doors onto the well-kept pretty cottage garden with an arbour, flowering shrubs and plants, a small lawn and a pear and plum tree. The garden offers a lovely little sun trap perfect for al-fresco dining.

The family bathroom is situated on the ground floor. Featuring a bath with overhead shower, WC and basin. The walls are panelled with French Grey paneling creating a real ‘cottage feel’.

Upstairs you will discover the remaining two double bedrooms and a second WC. The first spacious double bedroom is neutrally styled with pale walls, crisp white linen and leaf print cushions. Character runs through the bedroom with dark wood beams overhead. A lovely vintage set of drawers that fits perfectly into the eaves and a wicker armchair finish off the room perfectly.

Between the two bedrooms is a small WC and basin.

The second room features a double bed tucked neatly under the apex of the roof. The small bedside table and lamp make this spot perfect for hiding away and enjoying some peace and quiet. At night the Velux window overhead lets you enjoy the star lit sky from the bed.

Saltburn-by-the-Sea is packed with character. This charming Victorian spa town is home to the oldest operating water balanced cliff lift in the UK, one of the best British Beaches as voted by The Times.
Explore the town centre and you’ll discover an array of independent shops, restaurants, bars and pubs.

Saltburn is Ideal for those walking the Cleveland Way Trail, the small fishing village of Staithes is the next stop. This part of the walk features stunning views as you journey through Boulby Cliff, which is the highest cliff on the eastern coast of England.

Local to all amenities - great location and parking. Private garden and homely interior.

The cottage provided us with a homely place to meet with our northern relatives . We had an enjoyable stay.
Tall people might like to dress in the nice warm downstairs bathroom to avoid the beams in the dormer bedrooms.
The description in accurate and the cost fair.

This was a lovely, comfortable cottage, great location for shops and beach. Clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds and the enclosed garden was fabulous for our dog. All in all a lovely stay, we would recommend to others. Many thanks!

We stayed here during a very cold spell, but found the accommodation very warm and comfortable. It is spacious, very well furnished and equipped, and is well maintained. The house is very centrally located, with easy access to shops, cafes etc and just a short walk to the seafront. We would not hesitate to recommend it for anyone wishing to stay in Saltburn.

spacious, comfortable and well equipped.

the shower pressure was poor

Well situated for the town.
No working WiFi. No TV signal so whilst smart TV couldn’t use it. No alternative e.g DVD player. Problem with upper toilet that whilst fixed when reported still didn’t flush.

We recently stayed for a long weekend at Rosebank, the property is really well located and a short walk into the centre of the town. The property is really well equipment and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The communication from the owners was excellent and I would definitely recommend this property.

My family had a fab stay at Rosebank Cottage in Saltburn. It was in a great location, a close walk to town and the sea. The property was a great size for us with teenagers and the garden was great for the dog. Communication was prompt and clear even though we booked last minute! Will definitely be back-Saltburn is beautiful.

We had a lovely stay here. Very homely and cosy. Finding parking was no issue at all. Beds were so comfortable. It was perfect for our very sentimental family get together. Super close to the beach. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Lovely property, spacious well done out and nice private garden. Steep steps at front to access property. Board games in cupboard. Thankyou for the milk.

Really lovely bright house. Nice quiet garden, on a quiet street. Great location. Perfect for families. Well equipped kitchen.

Very enjoyable stay.

Property was in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes walk from the beach.
Clean and good size for 4 adults

Lovely dormer bungalow, furnished really tastefully. Beds very comfortable, location fantastic for access to the beach and restaurants but still a nice peaceful position.

So comfortable and beautifully styled. It was also immaculately clean. Beautiful property.

Good location
Well equipped cottage

Perfect location, only 5 mins from the seafront. The bungalow has everything you need in the kitchen. The Bungalow is in need of renovation, big cracks in the walls in the livingroom and the bathroom needs some TLC. We went as a family and the bedroom layout wasn’t ideal. The two double beds upstairs were under the eves , which resulted in a few banged heads. It’s described as two bathrooms, only one shower.

Amazing cottage and perfect location, the fish and chip shop around the corner is excellent with shops close buy for any essentials. Walking distance from the prom, beach and small town centre with some lovely shops.
The cottage is bright and has all the comforts of home. Reading other reviews we did take eye masks to ensure a good nights sleep, this is more so in the downstairs bedroom, there are shutters but the top ornate windows let in a lot of light. Upstairs the blinds work well.
We will definitely book to stay again.

Lovely cute place, cant complain about anything. Both of us loved it

Lovely cottage in a good location near to centre of Saltburn. Well fitted and furnished. Secure and south facing garden. We always found street parking, strong WiFi and close to local shop, vets and Fish & Chip shop!
Definitely recommend

Great place with good amenities, bigger than it looks in pictures. Cute vintage theme. 5/10min walk from the beach. And the company were really fast to response to all communication. Really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! It was so cosy and had everything we needed for a family weekend away. The beach was gorgeous and I would most definitely recommend STAY and book again in the future

Top notch accommodation within walking distance of saltburn town and beach. Sympathetic decor and every mod con you might need!

Nice and clean, not sure id want to stay in the summer as the bedroom doors are all glass, so very very bright and an early morning start!

House was very clean. Good size. Bedrooms were nice. No complaints

Contemporary decoration, games for families, super garden very comfortable. Just needs curtains downstairs in the bedroom although their are nets.

A perfect place to stay, great location and chip shop just around the corner,

David D.

Rosebank Cottage is in a good location close to the town and the coast (although it is a fairly long uphill walk from the promenade & the lift wasn't working). Due to the current situation we took all our food & drink and the cottage was well equipped for us to prepare meals. We called for drinks in the local bars & restaurants which are in easy (& flat) walking distance and were well organised.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms & we used the one downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms are in the eves of the house and may be a bit tight if 6 adults are using the cottage.
Overall we had a good stay as a couple and found Saltburn-by-the-Sea and surrounding area a delightful place to walk and explore.
